Rachel Voted
Most Faciable Female !

S Club 7 babe Rachel Stevens has once again been voted one of pop's sexiest women. Earlier this year the stunning singer was voted Britain's Sexiest Woman in a poll by British lad mag FHM.
And she scored again; picking up the gong for Most Fanciable Female at yesterday's Smash Hits Poll Winners' Party in London.
It caps an amazing week for Rachel and her S Club pals; on the(8th December) they won Britain's coveted Record Of The Year award for their smash hit Don't Stop Movin'.

S Club 7 Take
Record Of The Year Title

S Club 7 have picked up the Record of the Year 2001 award. The group came from behind to fend off Blue to take the crown. Their single, Don't Stop Movin' gives yet more success for Bradley, Jon, Paul, Hannah, Rachel, Jo and Tina.
In a Eurovision-style voting system, the shortlisted bands had to wait for votes to be announced from 14 television regions and the internet in the annual competition sponsored by Britannia Music. S Club were among 10 bands shortlisted. As well as beating Blue, and their single All Rise, in to second place, they also saw off favourite Kylie Minogue, whose Can't Get You Out Of My Head could only get her into third spot.
The live event was staged at the London Television Centre, hosted by Ant and Dec. A spokeswoman for the event organisers said: "It has been a great night and all the audience and bands have really enjoyed themselves."

S Club: This Love's For Real

S Club 7 have slammed suggestions that the relationship between bandmates Paul Cattermole and Hannah Spearritt is a publicity stunt.
The group say it was a complete coincidence that the pair's announcement of their love was made just as they launched a publicity campaign for a new single and album.
Paul says, "Basically, we've known each other for a long, long time and we just got closer and closer being in a band and working together. We're very very happy. She's lovely!"
Hannah adds, "We got together about six months ago, I think, and we have just fallen in love. It's not fake, but I suppose it might seem like that. It was time, to be honest really, because it had been going on for a while and we didn't want to - and couldn't - hide it for much longer."

Record of the Year Finalists!

We knew they'd do it! Yep, S Club 7 are among the ten finalists for this year's Record Of The Year! "Don't Stop Movin'" will be up against hits from the likes of Blue, Atomic Kitten, DJ Pied Piper, Kylie Minogue, Wheatus, Destiny's Child, Hear'Say, Wyclef Jean and Shaggy, but once again you'll be able to make a difference and vote for the 7!

The place: Your TV screen, ITV1; The time: 6-7.10pm on Saturday, 8th December. The voting results and winners presentation: 9.25 - 10.15pm. (From Sclub.com)

Still Number One?
Previously unknown R&B artist Daniel Bedingfield is set to knock S Club 7 off top spot on this week's UK singles chart, according to today's midweek charts.
However, a spokesman for HMV told that though Bedingfield has started very strongly, he may lack the mainstream appeal to keep S Club 7 from having a two-week run at the top.
PPK are currently at Number Three with their dance track 'Resurrection', while Hear'say's promotional overdrive seems to have stalled, leaving their new effort, 'Everybody', at fourth.
S Club 7 are also on course to enter the UK albums chart with their new 'Sunshine', but only at Number 3 with Robbie Williams at number one, followed by Blue at two.

Going Straight to Number One
S Club 7 have gone straight to the top of the UK singles chart with their new charity single 'Have You Ever'. As predicted, the single, which is raising money for the Children In Need appeal knocked last week's number one Blue's 'If You Come Back' down to number two followed by Dannii Minogue on number three.

It's S Club 7's fourth number one single and their second number one in aid of Children In Need, the first being 'Never Had A Dream Come True' which went straight to the top of the charts in December last year.

'Have You Ever' is the second single from S Club 7's new album 'Sunshine' which is to be released in the UK tomorrow (the 26th November). The next single from the album is going to be 'You' followed by a 2 in 1 single with both 'Sunshine' and 'It's Alright' on it.

S Club 7 Looking Good for Another Number 1 Single
S Club 7 are on course to knock Blue off the top of the UK singles chart with their new Children In Need single, Have You Ever? Early sales figures put the boy band's single If You Come Back in second position. Dannii Minogue and Riva look set to debut at number three with Who Do You Love Now?

Rachel Still Not Engaged
Rachel has denied she is secretly engaged. The singer has bought her own flat close to the home of her boyfriend Jeremy Edwards. But she says reports that the Holby City star has proposed to her are premature. "It's not true," she told the Daily Express Saturday magazine. "We are just really happy. I hope it will happen. I'm sure it will."

Jon Wants To Be A DC
If you could swap bodies with any member of the opposite sex for just one day, who would you choose? That's the question Jo S Club put to fellow Clubber Jon! And the fella's answer? "Oh, it would definitely have to be Beyoncé from Destiny's Child!" replied the lush lad. Erm, why, exactly? "Well," Jon continued, "she's got enough money to pay the bills, hasn't she? So, while I was her, I'd get her credit card, pay all my bills and then go back to being me the next day! Fabulous!" Jon S Club in one of Beyoncé's sparkly outfits? Now that we would like to see!

BBC Children In Need 2001
Set your vids and bag your spot on the sofa 'cause Friday (16th November) sees this year's BBC Children In Need extravaganza! There'll be all the usual moneymaking high jinks on offer as well as tons of celebs giving up their time to help out. And that includes S Club 7, of course!

The guys will be performing their totally gorgeous new single, "Have You Ever" and you'll also get to see footage of some of you lot singing on the chorus! Plus the 7s will give us stormin' versions of two tracks from the new album too! Should be wicked!

Let There Be Light
If you're gonna be anywhere near the London area next Monday, hotfoot it over to Oxford Street 'cause the 7s will be there too! The guys are thrilled that they've been asked to switch on this year's Christmas lights and you can be there to cheer them on. The action starts at 6pm outside John Lewis on 19th November and the rumour has it that the 7s will even be performing some tracks for the crowd. Don't miss it!

Feeling Blue
Bradley recently admitted to Popworld that he'd love to be the fifth member of Blue. After bonding with Lee, Dunc, Antony and Simon backstage during a showbiz singalong at the London Cadbury Popworld Party, our Bradley watched the Blue lads on stage.

As Bradley boogied along with Bryan Westlife, he said, "If Blue ever needed a fifth member, I'd be there!" When Blue were told that they had a famous fan, Antony replied, "Brad, man - come and join us!" And Lee added, "He's a geezer! That's cool - come on over and join in the fun!"

Rachel 'Flattered'
to be a Sex Symbol
Rachel Stevens says she's doesn't know why she's so popular with men. She says she is extremely flattered to be seen as a sex symbol. She told that it's important not to try too hard to make people like you.

Rachel was named the second sexiest woman in the world by FHM magazine earlier this year. "Obviously I never started out to be a sex symbol - I'm a singer" she says. "It's extremely flattering to be seen as a lovely person. I don't really know what all the hype is about. I think it's just me being me. "I get invited to lots of showbiz parties but I'm always working so I never have time to go to any."

Rachel adds that while her heart lies with singing, she's looking forward to filming the new S Club 7 movie next year. "We haven't seen any scripts yet but I'm very excited," she says. "We're not sure whether it's going to be filmed in Los Angeles or Vancouver but it's definitely starting in April. I enjoy acting but singing is where my heart lies."

She says she'd like to see herself settled down in 10 years' time. "I'd like to be married with children," she says. "But after S Club 7 I'd like to still be involved with singing in some way. I wouldn't want to star in the West End though. That's not really for me."

New S Club 7 Album
Aimed at Older Audience?

S Club 7 say their new album Sunshine is aimed at an older audience. The album has a mix of ballads and pop tunes. But it is the first album each band member has sung on individually.

Bradley has also written two of the tracks called Right Guy and I Will Find You from his purpose-built studio. Bandmate Paul, who co-wrote Summertime Feeling, says he and Bradley have been writing songs since they were young but don't always get recognised. "I've been writing songs since I was 15," Paul says. "I've recently done a couple of B-sides as well. But we're still a manufactured band. We don't pretend to be anything else."

Sunshine is released on 24th November. It will be preceded by new single Have You Ever, which is out on 19th November.

S Club 7 Say New Song
Makes Them Sad

S Club 7 say performing their new charity single Have You Ever makes them feel sad, they are hoping the track will help raise a record amount of money. The record is released in aid of the BBC's Children In Need on November 19. Last year S Club 7 raised £200,000 for the charity with their single Never Had A Dream Come True.

They say Have You Ever is different from their previous singles because it doesn't have a happy ending. Band member Jon said: "It's a very sad song really, to listen to as well as perform. It's aimed at anyone who has lost someone, especially young children who have lost a parent. The message is definitely awareness. It fits in well with Children In Need. We're glad that we were asked to take part in the charity again and this time we hope to raise even more money."

Paul and Hannah's Romance 'Going Well'

Paul Cattermole says his relationship with band mate Hannah Spearritt is "going very well." He says he sees Hannah most evenings outside work.

The pair revealed in October they had been secretly dating for six months. Paul said: "We decided to tell everyone because it was going to get out sooner or later and we wanted to be along the official lines.

"Obviously we see each other all the time at work, but we see each other most evenings as well. "We've no future plans at the moment. We're just happy with the way things are."

S Club Planning Next Tour

S Club 7 are already planning their forthcoming UK tour Carnival 2002, which begins in January. Paul says the stage show will have more of a theme than last year's theatrical storyline. "It'll be very different because we'll be performing lots of new material," he says. "We'll probably still be performing Reach For The Stars though because it's such a laugh. We love running around the stage and jumping about to it."

The Magnificent 7

For 40 of you v. talented S Clubbers, this weekend was the moment of truth. 'Cause that's when S Club 7 themselves judged the final of S Club Juniors!
And boy, did it take a long time! Paul told us why, "To be honest, we knew the standard would be high, but not THAT high! We got the list down to the final 14 but after that, it was a real punch-up over who'd win!"
But choose they did and seven lucky so-and-so's will get the chance to pull their moves on stage with the 7s next year. Bradley had a message to everyone else who came along, "I want to say a massive thanks to all of you out there. I wish we could have you all on stage with us - you were wicked!"

S Club
Party On
In Minehead

The Woolworths Smash Hits Tour 2001 will be kicking off in spectacular style at Butlin's Minehead. A tempting fun-packed weekend is on offer and S Club 7 have found it impossible to resist and they've accepted an invitation to join. allSTARS, Jamie Benson, Liberty, Phats & Small, Pied Piper, Warren Stacey, Tymes 4, Ian Van Dahl, Reel and Damage had already agreed to join for the opening date.

The show - where you can see all the acts live - takes place in the special indoor arena on Saturday November 24. The incredible thing is you won't have to pay to get in. The show is included as part of the entertainment on a special weekend break from Friday November 23 - Monday November 26. Prices start at £62 per person.

Rachel and Jon's Snog

It was a couple of weeks ago that Hannah and Paul publicly expressed their love for each other and now Popworld can reveal that Jon and Rachel have been 'intimate' too!

When we asked Jon and Rachel if they'd snog any other member's of the group, Rachel confessed, "Yeah, I've snogged Jon before. He's a really good kisser!"

Jon was happy to confirm he'd smoothed his bandmate - but he turned a bright shade of pink when Rachel added, "He even does this funny thing with his tongue!" What would Rachel's boyfriend say?

S Club 7 Kids' Fury
Hundreds of children were heartbroken yesterday when they were turned away from auditions to perform with chart idols S Club 7.

The wannabe pop stars, some as young as eight, were told to go home as there was no time to see them perform their song and dance routines. More than 10,000 youngsters had converged on Wembley Conference Centre in North West London.

Auditions were for a "Junior S Club 7" band to support the stars on three tour dates next February. But there were angry scenes as organisers shut the doors at 11am, saying they already had more than enough candidates.

Emma Coffill, 14, from Aylesbury, Bucks, said: "I ran all the way from the station but when I got here I was told they were taking no more entries." A Centre spokesman said: "We apologise for the inconvenience. The response was phenomenal."

Filming is due to start next April, but singer Tina Barrett says she has no idea what the film will be about. She told the Daily Record: "It's going to be really exciting for us. S Club 7 Stars Reveal
Their Secret Romance !!!!!!!!!

S Club 7 stars Paul and Hannah have revealed they have secretly been dating! The couple have been seeing each other for the past six months. They have decided to go public with their relationship before there was speculation about their private lives.

Paul Cattermole and Hannah Spearritt met on a stage production seven years ago, way before the band was assembled. Coincidentally the couple will be seen sharing a kiss on Thursday's edition of their TV drama Hollywood 7. Paul said: "We wanted to see how things went so we've kept it relatively quiet until now. Things are going well so there's no need to keep it a secret any more."

The pair first became friends while they were working together on a National Youth Music Theatre production of Pendragon. They were brought together again when the band was assembled in 1997. Hannah said: "We've known each other for seven years and have got a lot closer since we've been in the band, so we're very happy."

The band said in a statement: "Paul and Hannah are so happy together. We're really pleased it's going so well for them. It's just like two of your really good mates getting together -it's made us all even closer."

S Club 7 are set to switch on the Oxford Street Christmas lights in London this year! Radio Oxford
Joins the S Club 7

BBC Radio Oxford staff helped in an attempt to get pop group S Club 7 into the record books. Presenters were joined by members of the public in the Radio Oxford reception on Banbury Road last Monday, to record backing vocals for the band's new single "Have you Ever".

S Club 7 are recording the song in aid of Children In Need and are aiming to get into the Guinness Book of Records by including the highest number of backing singers on a single.

The piece was broadcast on air and and a recording is being sent to the group's recording studios. Local BBC radio stations from all over the country also sent in dry recordings of singers which will then be mixed onto the final single.

Everyone who participated will get their name on the "virtual sleeve" of the single and in a national paper.

S Club 7 are to back a new campaign against dropping litter together with Hear'Say, and Atomic Kitten. The pop idols will appear on posters as part of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign. The posters will be sent to cinemas and secondary schools around the UK.

S Club 7's poster has the slogan: "Don't Stop Movin' have a tidy, tidy street". Atomic Kitten say: "Stop dropping litter Right Now!" while Hear'Say's message is: "Hear what we'say - bin it!"

The Government-backed campaign hopes the message from celebrities will encourage kids to stop dropping their rubbish anywhere they like.

Jo Go!?

Jo has spoken exclusively to Popworld about the rumours that she is leaving the group to spend more time with her boyfriend Lee. Popworld caught up with S Club 7 in LA, where they are currently filming their new TV series, and asked Jo about the whispers.

"They're not true, definitely not," the lass said. "I didn't say anything like that. And the thing that made me laugh was, I haven't actually done an interview since I've been out here. This is probably the first one! It's not true, I'm not leaving the group!" (From Popworld; Thanks Claire)

Rach On Film

We managed to catch up with Rachel to find out what she's enjoying most about shooting the new shows. "It's really cool because we've worked with all the crew before and we all get on really well and have a laugh. It means that filming's really good fun and funny bits happen."

Rach also let us in on her fave bit of each S Club episode, "My very favourite thing is performing the music. Acting's great but when we do performances in the show, I love it 'cause I love the music and the singing so much. Performing is really cool and I hope it shows that we're enjoying it."

Hollywood 7

The first episode of Hollywood 7 will air first in the US on 15th September on Fox Family, then in the UK on 27th September on BBC One at 4:35pm!
In this episode the band goes to Hollywood to pursue fame and fortune. This time, they're giving themselves 24 hours to find a manager, and if they don't, it's back to London and the end of S Club 7!

The name of another song, which will be on the upcoming album, has now been revealed. The song will be called 'Show Me Your Colours' and will be performed in the desert in one of the Hollywood 7 episodes.
(Thanks to Jon Kingdom)

Hollywood 7 in the UK
It has been officially revealed on sclub.com that Hollywood 7 will start in the UK on the 27th of September (a day earlier than we first reported) @ 4:35pm on CBBC, so be sure to tune in!

Jo vs. Hannah!
Remember where you heard it first but here's a real storyline exclusive. In one episode of the new series Jo and Hannah, who are normally best mates, end up falling out! And here's a bit of advice - never get on the wrong side of these two 'cause in the show they set up loads of horrible tricks for each other:

Jo drops a huge tarantula in Hannah's bed while in return Hannah puts a massive centipede in Jo's. And yes, they had to film with real insects. And yes, they did have to pick them up! Gross!

S Club 7's New Album
S Club 7 are to release their next album across the globe - on the same day. Up till now, the band have only released songs in countries where their TV series is shown. The as yet unnamed album will hit the shops in November.

It has now been confirmed that the next single is going to be 'Have you ever' and not 'You'. It will be released in November too, and it's going to be in this year's 'Children in Need'.

Jeremy Edwards
Not Engaged to Rachel !!!

Jeremy Edwards has denied reports he is engaged to girlfriend Rachel Stevens.

The Holby City actor says his relationship with the S Club 7 singer is going well but they have not discussed marriage.

The couple have been apart for eight weeks while Rachel records the BBC series Hollywood 7 with the band in Los Angeles.

Jeremy told Teletext: "It has been difficult keeping up with each other and she's away for another four weeks, but we are always on the phone.

"It is also not true that we split up and got back together. We are really happy and we are missing each other."

More Pet News
The S Clubbers have gone pet crazy. First Hannah got her own mouse, Raymond, and now the 7s have got themselves a dog. Or at least they have in their new TV series. According to the storyline, they are going to adopt a little stray and call him BB but in real life he is known as Red. He is supposed to be a 'professional actor' and does tons of tricks behind the scenes but none when the cameras start rolling.

EXCLUSIVE! New tattoos!!
As soon as S Club landed in LA, Jon and Jo went straight to the tattoo parlour!! Jon has had a new tattoo on his back, while Jo has had some stars put around the dolphin on her tummy! Jon said that the only thing was, he was so worn out from the flight that he passed out after the first few minutes of them starting it! Jon has also had his ear pierced.

More news on the new series...
S Club 7 have recently been filming in a disused airport! Paul said there were all these massive jumbo jets parked there rusting away. "It's like an airport graveyard - in face it was a bit creepy. The scenes will look really brilliant though." The airport was right in the middle of the desert!!

S Club to appear on Sabrina!
It is rumoured that S Club are going to follow in the footsteps of bands like the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears, and appear in a new episode of Sabrina
